This year the UK’s biggest festival of Classical music dived into a unique approach to its radio advertising. Mcasso were asked to find a musical way of demonstrating the depth of the programme, the freedom to pick and choose and the variety of genres of music on offer.
Inspired by the surreal nature and underwater themes of the TV spots, Mcasso’s Dave Reynaud created an illusion of a Proms performance taking place under water. Starting at the pool side of a busy Lido, typical of a summer’s day in Britain, the diver plunges in the pool and continues to dive deeper into a surreal underwater world of music before rising the the surface for the finale.
