The Lampies is a children’s TV series first broadcast by CBBC on BBC1 in 2001.
The main theme was composed by Mike Connaris, and the lead vocalist was Alan Swinden who also sang on The Lampies’ Christmas single, “Light Up The World for Christmas”. The 3 min version of the title track won first prize in the ISC (International Song Competition) in the children’s category.
